EPIC Family WeekendsEmpowering Communities Across America: EPIC Family’s Chinuch Seminars

Amid global uncertainties and challenges, EPIC Family stood firm on its commitment to prioritize the well-being and education of our children. Over the past months, EPIC Family’s Chinuch Seminars reached several communities across the United States for a series of transformative parenting seminars to address the most pressing issues facing Klal Yisroel today.

The journey began in November as we navigated turbulent times with resolve and determination. Despite the ongoing conflict in Eretz Yisroel, we brought world-renowned speakers to the Five Towns, Far Rockaway, Monsey, and Lakewood for a two-week-long EPIC Chinuch event. The response was overwhelming as we delved into critical discussions about current events and offered invaluable support to schools and families grappling with how to educate about the situation. For example, an Oneg  Shabbos was held at the Young Israel Lawrence – Cedarhurst where Harav Zev Leff masterfully explained how to understand the situation in Israel and addressed the many questions from the large crowd in attendance. Whether the events were geared toward scholars, laymen, educators, or students, the Epic team, along with Harav Zev Leff and Rabbi Dovid Kaplan, empowered and inspired everyone.

Moving westward in January, EPIC Chinuch Week 2024 reached the vibrant communities of Los Angeles. Epic Family encompassed neighborhoods like Hancock Park, Pico Robertson, The Valley, and Tarzana, where we were welcomed back with open arms. With the addition of several more Shuls and outreach to new schools, EPIC’s impact extended even further. In addition to the Epic team with Harav Zev Leff and Rabbi Dovid Kaplan, we were honored to be joined by Rabbi Ephraim Shapiro, whose inspirational address drew a full house, highlighting the importance of community engagement and empowerment.

In March, our journey continued to the Greater Chicago area for EPIC Chinuch Week Chicago 2024. Amidst the preparations for Purim, we were warmly welcomed as we hosted two impactful Shabbatons across four communities: West Rogers Park, Peterson Park, Lincolnwood, and Skokie. Joined by esteemed speakers Rabbi Zev Leff Shlita and Dr. David Lieberman, our focus expanded to include comprehensive teacher training and engaging Q&A sessions for students. A community-wide weeknight panel was hosted by Adas Yeshurun, led by Harav Zev Cohen, to address the local community regarding the ongoing war situation in Israel and provide guidance on how to support Acheinu Bais Yisrael.

Reflecting on our nationwide endeavors, EPIC Family has made significant strides. From reaching tens of schools to training hundreds of teachers and empowering thousands of families, our impact has been profound. As we look ahead, our commitment to progress remains unwavering. We are determined to expand into new territories, bringing our empowering seminars to communities far and wide.
